Sydämellisesti -Serlachius teaset for two

This set consists of six pieces of tableware. The decoration is designed for Serlachius museum's restaurant and cafe. Two large mugs (Decorated both sides, 0,25l); Two plates to go to the under of the cup (Decorated on the rim, diameter 16cm) Two  plates (diameter 21 centimeters, decorated on the middle of the plate). 

Serlachius-museums asked me to design tableware decoration for the museum's Gösta-restaurant.  I visited the beautiful mansion -holding the artcollections- and modern Gösta-museum with modern art and the gardens around. Also it was interesting to learn the history of the Serlachius family at Gustaf museum. I wanted the decoration to tell something about the times, when the mansion was a home and hosting splendid parties. The decoration is tvist of modern and past. I hope you can find colors and elements, which help you to create stupendous moments of your own. Sydämellisesti means with heart - and that text is in the middle of the decoration.

Manifactured exclusively for Serlachius-museums in Germany. High fired Noble China. Dishwasher proof.
